Much like the chair, the couch presents a very difficult assignment for designers. Even though the market abounds with upholstered seating furniture (including design pieces), customers often find it hard to choose a sofa that they'll use for years. The look, shape and upholstery must go hand-in-hand with comfort and guaranteed "durability". Designed by the Prague-based hipposdesign studio, the Soft collection meets all these criteria. At first sight, its form and 3D textile upholstery looks pleasant and visually attractive without being flamboyant. The sofa is also very comfortable thanks to the use of high quality natural foam and its three rows of cushions (two rows can be exchanged as needed). Overall the sofa gives a very contemporary impression and the user can have confidence in it since it will "age" well. It can also be used in both private and public interiors. With this collection, which consists of small and large sofas and an armchair, hipposdesign studio, which currently specialise in interior design, return to product design after a long time.
