The space, where countless young Czech designers, jewellers and fashion designers can be encountered in one place, was established in 2015 by the jeweller Eliška Lhotská with the ambition to create a curatorship-based shop offering local design. The very active young artist, who is also behind the concept of the Pecha Kucha Night event, held in Železný Brod, has put together a strong team of her former schoolmates and creative friends for the Koncept Story. The shop is supplied by several individual designers and young brands, who share both the rent and the space. They all supplement each other, which results in a colorful mosaic of clothing, jewellery, products and accessories. Currently, the range on display in the pleasant and intimate shop at a Letná square in Prague includes works by the brands Oneday, DEZÉN, Maria Makeeva, Nastassia Aleinikava, Optiqa, MORPHE by Kristýna Malovaná and Petiteé. Besides selling its own products, Koncept Story also actively partakes in promoting Czech design at regular shows and festivals and via special performances, for instance the outdoor fashion show Milky Way, realized by the fashion group Dry Milk of Virgin Mary and the artist Ondřej Vicena as part of the Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Week.
