Established by photographers Jakub Skokan and Martin Tůma in 2008, the BoysPlayNice studio specialises in photography and concepts with a focus on advertising, architecture, interior design, product design, products and still lifes. They also create concepts for photo campaigns and art projects. Their commercial and art photos have one thing in common – fresh ideas that evolve into original stories. BoysPlayNice adopt the philosophy of creating images based on ideas and using the medium of photography in the most optimal way. This year, BoysPlayNice are nominated for the Czech Grand Design Award for several projects: interior design photos of Nejen Bistro (mar.s architects), interior and exterior design photos of Dům pro Markétku (Mjölk architekti), interior design photos of Gran Fierro Steakhouse and Cocktail Bar (Formafatal), photos for the Škoda Superb 2015 advertorial (Dolce Vita) and product photos for Nastassia Aleinikava's eyewear collection.
